Wesleyan University • Spring 2013 • This seminar offers an introduction to political philosophy. The first part of our inquiry will be dedicated to a study of classical and modern natural right traditions. The second part will examine challenges to the classical tradition from eco-feminism, anarchism/decentralism, environmental sustainability and the modern monetary reform movement.

Monetary Reform documents I mentioned in class
Here's the recent monetary reform act I mentioned in class on Monday which would have nationalized the Money Power in the US banking system HR 6550, which includes an excellent summary of the bill and the history of the struggle over control of the money power, written by Stephen Zarlenga, director of the American Monetary Institute.
And here's the paper by some economists at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) arguing for the same plan: nationalizing money power for purposes of ecological and social sustainability.
And more resources on the CT Sound shares blog
